Job Description Overview: Seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join a dynamic dental practice in Stony Brook, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist during clinical procedures, and maintain clean and safe clinic facilities.
Clinical Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during exams, endodontics, and various procedures. Prepare instruments and dental materials, take digital impressions, and adhere to aseptic protocols. Provide pediatric care support and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Administrative Responsibilities: Handle front desk duties including telephone inquiries, patient scheduling, and medical records management utilizing Dentrix software.
Qualifications: Prior dental assisting and front desk experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (every other)
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (every other)
Front Desk Duties: Ability to perform dental receptionist and administrative duties including managing phone calls and appointment scheduling.
