# Lead Dental Assistant Role in Rocky Point
Long Island Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking an experienced, motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team in Rocky Point, NY. Our practice specializes in implant surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and comprehensive patient care. Earning $28–31/hr based on experience, you will work alongside two skilled implant and cosmetic dentists in a modern, supportive environment.
# Key Duties and Work Environment
In this role, you will assist doctors with general dentistry and implant surgical procedures, manage treatment room setups, take X-rays, oversee instrument sterilization, and support patient education. Item Name: Key Responsibilities
Assist doctors with general dentistry and implant surgical procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and surgical setups. Take dental X-rays as needed. Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Support patient education and post-operative instructions. Keep clinical areas organized and patient flow efficient. Help patients feel calm and well cared for.
Item Name: Schedule & Compensation
Schedule is Monday to Friday with predictable hours and no weekends. Pay ranges from $28 to $31 per hour based on experience, alongside bonuses, 401(k) match, and profit sharing.

Pay is based on experience. Performance bonuses, 401(k) with 2% employer match, and profit sharing available.

Shift & Schedule Monday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Thursday: 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
3+ years of dental assisting experience required.
PreferencesExperience assisting with implant surgery preferred.
