Focused on enterprise-level design and engineering solutions, the full-time Cloud Engineer II will manage and maintain complex public and private cloud infrastructures, ensuring performance, security, and scalability while working remotely. Key responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability Develop and enforce cloud security policies and optimize cloud performance and cost-efficiency through continuous monitoring Create and manage automation scripts for efficient deployment and scaling of cloud resources while documenting cloud systems and processes Required qualifications High School Diploma required; a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred Relevant certification in a major cloud platform is required, to be obtained within the first year of employment 7+ years of industry experience, preferably in large enterprise environments, with proven experience as a Cloud Engineer Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, automation tools, and security best practices
